I trust you are a regular on www.ausrotary.com . Have you seen www.react.org.au , the Canberra Rotary club? We had a display at a large car show in Belconnen today (25/Nov).

REACT is a "Marque" based club, catering for rotary owners and enthusiasts, so we try to do more social stuff rather than motorsport. We had a dyno day a couple of weeks ago, a guided tour over the Mazda Motorsport Australia SP race car (incl a video presentation about the Eastern Creek 12hr and a show and tell going through the development of the SP and the parts that make the 'normal' SP and the even more exclusive 25 specials just that special. We are affiliated with RENEW, the NSW rotor guys and we get invites to their trackdays @ Wakefield, Eastern Creek and Oran Park. We will be having a club display at the Summernats this year (Sunday, main arena - free entry for you, a passenger and you car!). We have cruises and other social events like the recent REACT vs ACT HSV bowling challenge - we normally try and have a social meet up every fortnight on friday nights, usually in different places around the city.

The 20b powered 3rd gen is pretty nice.

Also on yesterday was a Hill Climb race meet out on the Sutton Road hill climb track (www.sdmahillclimb.com) - a number of REACTors do these events. I think 4 of our members were competing there. There was (at least) 2 3rd gens, 1 1st gen rally car, 1 stock 1st gen, 2 2nd gens and an rx4. The week before there was a MG club motorkhana and we had an s4 and an rx8 there for that.

At the next hillclimb (9 Dec) there might be another 3 rotors out there, incl the 13b 808 wagon from the show on the weekend, a stock-ish rx2 and a renesis powered 1st gen.

So there is a bit on and around.
