The a-spec *does* exist: http://www.mazda.co.jp/mazdaspeed/ (in the flash section, the third menu has a link to both the r and a spec catalogues)

AFAIK, it's a mazdaspeed demo car, using all the (well overpriced) bits from their catalogue.

Were 'a-specs' ever sold direct to the public? No idea, but I've never seen one.

yes... I agree (to the extent that it is 'unlikely' that mazdaspeed sold them, ala nismo). But it did exist 'outside' bodykit sales - as a track car(s?) - as does the current rx8 a-spec. There has been a plethora of articles/tech articles on these cars.

I just bought a series 8 three days ago and to me it's way value for money compare to a sries 6/7. The car is a 2001 model (black) with on 12,000kms. Immaculate condition and looks brand new.

Now my question is?? I want to put an exhaust and air filter. What do you guys suggest?? Why??? And the place where i can get em!

= if you can make all those changes (or even just the best of the lot) for the price difference between an s6 and an s8..........
you know your rx7s mate
what do you think would be better an SP rx7 or a series 8
