Can Fc's be imported into Australia?
Can Fc's be imported into Australia? There used to be the old '15 years old or older' rule, but since that changed in 2005 I'm not sure how it all works.
Anyone know if you actually CAN imported an fc into Australia? If you can, how much would compliance, import duty and taxes etc cost?

You can ONLY import models from 1988 or before.
Compliance should run between $1000-$1500 depending on workshop/mechanic. You don't need to have this done in an accredited raws workshop as it's not part of the sev's scheme.
Duties and customs will vary depending on value of the car. 5% of value= duties, GST = 10% of value plus duties.

If a car is brought in under RAWS it can also have modifications, the only problem you will face would be to make sure that the mods arent actually illegal
