ausrotary activation issue
He fellas im having trouble creating a login for the ausrotary forum, i never seem to get the "activation" email?
I was wondering if anyone had the email of on of the moderators? or could contact the moderator on my behalf?

Its a real pain as i was trying to post this in the Parts area, im selling my Respeed Steering conversion kit and though someone from Oz might be interested?

What email account are you trying to use on activation?
I'm pretty sure they won't allow Hotmail accounts etc, due to the risk of spamming on the site.
You might have to try using your work or home email accounts.

Ive tried resending the activation email and it says its been sent, Its all correct, i just never recieve it.

the email server is down, though its raised flags that it has sent you something
send me your email addy and i will pass it to ausrotor admin
BTW new users cant sell immediately in the parts and trader sections until a probationary period has lapsed

yeah, be careful with ausrotary. im japanese-australian and i was banned. i dont know why. i followed their rules, policies and guidelines perfectly and got banned. i have never sold anything. now i cannot log on or even open a new account. i think maybe its because im japanese-aussie? i dont know. hard to understand or rationalise their actions.

there is so much posted everywhere,,in just a few days,, many consider it spam,, and offensive that you continue to ask question that clearly have been answered multiple times to you,, and about a million more times to others,, if you bother to use the search functions
you are wasting bandwidth,, you are posting the same questions under multiple user accounts
your posts are sig linked to a trader sales page and thus constitutes spam
this alone is considered a breach under terms and conditions of many web sites
people have tried to help you,, and you have pissed them off by not listening!

if you have an issue with ausrotary, take it up with the admin of that site in email
do not do it here
any further threads / posts of yours that are intended to antagonise a response will be dealt with harshly
in answer to your "which is spam"

having the same issue here.
from what i can gather only emails with isp's can be used. This is all fine... but my username is already created and cant be used again....
so im inbetween a rock and a hard place... cause i want to use my normal username...
ive sent an email off to admin... but havent received any response yet.
will update as soon as i do.

1 : use complying email service provider,, or potentially forever write off your favourite user name
2: if you have already FKD up , use a complying email and another user name
3: when you are finally activated , put in request for name change back to your favourite if possible
4: don't bother me with your problem,, i am not aus rotary admin
- previously when i have put in these requests to that admin to sort you lot out i have been totally ignored,, and not even a message reply
when i have posted these requests into the admin section of the board they have been left unanswered
in view of the apathy shown consistently at that end,, i no longer bother trying to sort out these issues
ausrotary admin are welcomed to respond here

If you have access to the Internet, you must have at least an ISP, student, or work based email account, so we suggest you use that. If that is not the account you regularly use, you can add an MSN or yahoo email address to your user profile under MSN messenger or Yahoo messenger.

The issue becomes further complicated because different Austalian states use different daylight savings hours.
This is an ongoing issue and if you are aware of a fix, please contact the Administrators.
