cleaning engine parts
i was wondering what parts of the motor can be hot tanked? rotors? housings? plates? e shaft?
or if they should not be hot tanked at all? then what is the best way to get them nice and clean..
some parts have a lil rust and some of the water jackets have a build up
cheers PaTricK

I hot tank will be just fine for cleaning..
We use hot tanks and sand blasters {carefuley} here @ out shop with no problems.. If you use a sand blaster be sure to wash all the parts 3-4 times with clean water to make sure you have all the sand 100% removed...
