i own an 80 rx7 with a blown engine. i am looking in to putting a 13b engine into the car but i want to know what has to be done. i have heard that the motor mounts may need to be moved but other than that i am not sure. would it be more practical for me to just get a 12a engine and put that into the car? any help is ver y appreciated

 

racing beat sell motor mounts for a 84-85 13b engine so you might have to do a liittle work there to make it fit but your going to have to get a stronger fuel pump, and if plan on keeping the 12a tranny someone told me you have to get a smaller flywheel or something not a hudred percent sure but ill read it again and let you know cause i wand to put a 13b in my car

 

Its not hard, I have a s6 in my 85. The front cover is what you will need for hte mounting. However, it will need to be a first gen cover so you can bolt it in the factory location. Check out my websites and it may explain a little to you.
