I am running around 90% IDC on 4 X ID2000 @ 25 PSI 7500 RPM and 11.4:1 AFR (gasoline AFRS)
Don't know what kind of power I'm making, but seems pretty good!

You've got Jarrett's old car right??? 2x1000 and 2x2000. You have the right fuel injectors but the wrong pumps, If I remember correctly there are twin walbros in the tank. If you were to replace those with Bosch 044's or similar high pressure pumps and turn up the base pressure to 75psi that would get you about 8300cc/min total flow.

Using Howard's math that gets you into the 700hp area.

That fuel pressure seems really high haha

I currently am running 350 WHP on 91 octane pump gas with a totally stock fuel system (pump, injectors, filter, and lines) on 16 lbs of boost. I have a T4 single turbo, no cats, no air pump, large intercooler, and a Power FC. Can I run E85 with a tune and no modifications? If not, what are the minumum modifications, if I have no particular power goals in mind?

no way, you'll need two walbros (or similar) the dual pump hanger (or fab your own) lines, top feed secondary rail, 1680cc secondaries, and an FPR, and you might was well go top feed primary rail and get bigger primary injectors. and if you need resistors for those top feed injectors (probably) you should get an FJO injector driver.

Thanks for the info. It pretty much matches what I've been told by Glen at Arizona Rotary Rockets, Tony at UMS, and a couple of guys who have already done the e85 conversion. With 30% more fuel needed, and at 93% injector duty cycle, there really isn't any other way. I would also have to buy another tune after all the conversion work. I could just use racing fuel and a retune to get 400 hp, without all the "surgery".

So wen using In-tank fuel pumps, is there any specific things I need to do forr example ground the tank, cover or heat shrink positive+ wires to pumps?, etc? Anything of that matter needs to be changed due to the electrically conductive e85 ?? Or is it safe and good to go with basically stock holder modded to accept dual pumps? Wires just clipped on pumps and screwed up on top

Instead of starting a new thread I figured I would bump this and see if someone has some insight,

Instead of 500rwhp, I'm looking for a more modest 300-325rwhp while remaining emissions legal. I figured E85 would help with the emissions aspect, as well as adding a degree of safety.

So, for a 300-325rwhp E85 system for an FD, would this work?
-twin in-tank Supra pumps
-stock feed/return fuel hoses
-stock 850's in modded primary rail
-bored 1300's in secondary rail
-FPD deleted, stock FRP

And what about the stock fuel filter with E85? Should it hold up just fine, or should I look at replacing it with an aftermarket in-line filter like the offerings from Earls?

RP single pump for that power level should be sufficient. here, figure out what you need to hit 500 whp, that's what you need for roughly 350 on e85, I can tell you right now you don't have enough injector for it, and dual supra pumps is overkill man.

oh, and if you're running dual pumps, might as well just redo the entire fuel line system and get a nice aeromotive fuel filter, dunno if the stock fuel filter can handle e85, don't think I would risk it either.

Thanks, I was worried I would need more injector. I like the dual pumps just to over engineer the system a little, plus I got a good deal on them.

Although if I have to get larger injectors anyways, meaning new rails, FPR, etc, I might as well over engineer that also and remove the stock fuel lines, run AN hoses to the rails, etc. I like future-proofing my setup as much as possible.
