How cold of a start can you manage? I tried working on the cold start explicitly and anything below 55ish takes some effort. And it flat won't start below 45F.

just curious, my fuel setup at the moment consist of 550cc primaries/ 2200 secondaries, and a walbro 485 ( the new e85 compatible walbro pump) i know e85 requires more fuel to make the power you want, but about how much power do you guys think i could make with this amount of fuel on e85? I was thinking about going ahead and switching and just adjusting my maps accordingly, I am switching my fuel setup soon, but I just wanted to know what my current setup can do on like 15-17 psi?

nice! that's not bad at all, and i'd rather have 450whp on e85 than pump gas because e85 is so much better for our motors, i might just go ahead and throw it in my tank and retune the car then!

^ You need to update your sig then. It says you have an E6K

I will be in the process of installing the Haltech flex fuel sensor in my car in a few weeks. I cant wait to start running my car on the stuff.

Is anyone running a N/A E85 setup? I have a racecar that I would love to do something innovative with. Are there benefits to running E85 in a N/A 13B BP?

So is it absolutely necessary to premix when you run e85? If it is, why is that? My setup is not a very high hp one, probably 330whp at 16 psi on a hybrid turbo. I have always like the idea of e85 and like what I have read here so far, but I'm not sure about the cost of the whole thing and premix sounds like a PIA and I have never done it before. The motor is not in the car yet and I need to decide soon if it's something I really wanna do.

Nope! If you have the stock OMP, you will be fine. You might want to throw a little oil in the E85 just for added protection tho. E85 is dry stuff.

I have the same question. From what i can find, timing is the issue here - or lack of. However, i think this is mainly for distributors and not having the range of adjustment available.

I am going to run a microtech LT10S with my 13b Monster J port, going to order a new 50mm Injection perfection to replace my weber IDA and will most prob go with 4 ID1000's. Already have replaced fuel system to 1/2", and wil updgrade the pump to suit and re-route my surge tank as its not quite right for injection. We also have some nice grunty coils lined up too.

We're hoping its going to be a sweet little package... Anyone else have a any recommendations? or any advise??

Coils/spark hasnt really been talked about here. What are you guys using for spark?

The above pump assembly was made by me Chip U . It was the first twin bracket for the 044 twin pump to be made by CJ. As i sent in the 044 pump to have bracket/ hanger made. I was playing with ways to run the lines at the time. I made some hard line and took a pic. for ***** and giggles. That set up was never ran or tried to be mounted in the tank , as i sold it and went with mechanical pump..

Cary on e85 is the shiznit mang,,, lol
