E85 and Emissions

Anybody passed emissions with E85?
Just wondering. That is one of the reasons I am converting. I'm hoping the 25%-15% gasoline doesn't mess things up.

since it is only 15 to 20 percent gas and ethanol is a much cleaner burning fuel it should be much easier to pass emissions

That's what I thought.
I think I will put the cat back on and use my Corvette air pump.
If it doesn't pass after that, I will sell my car!

It is my understanding that the emissions reduced are the ones being checked for. So basically you are just poluting with different polutants.

Having said that, I cant wait to run E-85 in my car

Good to hear you passed emissions.

I am so impressed by E85. Running 30 PSI now and it loves it!
This is on an upinned/doweled engine.
Have to get a new clutch because I am burning up the ACT Extremes now.
Going to a twin Clutch Master. The thing is gonna hook now!
