FL 1/2 aluminium Fuel Line

Question
I'm running a Bosch .044, external for my 1st Gen, 13b Turbo .
Well I'm running 1/2 line for main and return, I'm going to be ordering some fitting online since I will be saving 8 bucks a fitting , on the lines do I run males ? I'm new to do this I been reading a lot but can't find if I can use all males on Lines. I'm ordering from Russell and I dont need to crimp them they are compression fitting.

Thanks in advance

Fuel pump, fuel regulator, fuel rails use male fittings. Hoses use female fittings.
