Have AEM ECU, and CDI, but neither is working in the car waiting for a "Need" (GT35/40)

I don't want to spend money on a dyno for a turbo I have planned to ditch / isn't working well...

Were you the one that bought it from Johnny English? Let me know how its turning out for you if you have the time. I'm interested in seeing the 20B working with the EMS.

i know, thats why i jumped on it when i could. i have everything except for a secondary fuel rail for the 1600's, another fuel pump and a downpipe. pretty much everything else is just the little stuff like lines/hoses/adapters. so i think i got a pretty sweet deal.
i'll let you know when i get it up and running as far as the AEM goes. i think ironmdx (something like that) has been running it on his 20b for a while now.

Ohh Ohh! I have it and I just installed my AEM successfully today! I had some trouble figuring how to make it start in the past, but after some research and a few tweaks on the AEM, it's all good now!

My mods:
3mm apex seals with streetport
downpipe
m2 airbox
RP power pulley
Greddy SP exhaust
Greddy Profec B SpecII

Stuff left to install:
Water injection
MSD DIS-4

Stuff ordered and on its way:
Bonez High-flow cat
M2 Med IC

I have the EMS with

1300 secondaries
supra fuel pump
GM 3bar map sensor
AVCR
full 3" exhaust
ghetto cold air intake
CWR intercooler
non sequential turbos
V 1.0 tech edge wide band

I had the car tuned perfect before I put the 3bar map sensor in, and then had to retune everything. That's a pain in the ***. Currently tuned (myself) pretty conservatively at 12 psi, going turn the bost up to 15 and tune for that. Ever since the map sensor change I need to do a lot more light load tuning, but it screams at full load. I also set up the 2-step, and man is that fun. Currently building 6psi off the line with the 2-step alone (not the antilag).

i'm not that familiar with the software just yet, what is the 2-step function? sounds pretty sweet if its what i think it is!
on a side note, the motor was just thrown together and needs rebuilding again, so the deal isn't quite as sweet as i origially thought. its getting together though, motor is getting ported and will hopefully be done by the end of next week, depending on how quick things get shipped off. was missing 4 tension bolts, so i need those asap. we'll see though.

The 2-step is a secondary rev limiter. You use it for consistent launches. I have mine set at 5,000 rpm, and it turns off above 7mph. It sounds really mean, too.
