S5 aem

Ok so i want to run an aem ems on my s5 TII. Ive heard that the banzai adaptor harness will work on an aem 30-1800. Is it a direct plug and play? And is this my only option to run an aem ems.
Thanks

Believe Tri-Point is making a Series 2 adapter. PM EB Turbo and ask him. Other than that, there is also the EMS-4 option. Plenty of ways to skin the cat. What's your budget and what are you goals. Do you just want something to run the engine or will you be using advanced features of the ECU?

The harnesses that banzai makes are made to convert your car to the 93+ system so any plug and play unit for the fd will work with that patch harness.
aem 30-1800
power fc
pettite ecu
stock fd ecu ect....

Ebturbo might be able to make you something. His work is top notch.
the ems 4 is always a option but the way that i think is why spend the money for half a unit when you can go all out and get a V1 or v2 and have flexabillity for any future ad ons or engine swaps.
You can get a v1 for about 700-800$ and v2 for about 1000-1300$ if you shop around.

Dont bother with power fc it is childs play compared to the V1, V2 and ems 4

With the S5 unless you are planning on removing the OMP or running the standalone in parallel you cannot use the EMS-4. The extra I/Os of the Series II definitely make it a better choice.

The Banzai harness will only work with Series I AEMs. They are no longer made and will have to be found second hand. Using the Series II which is what I would recommend, You will need to have a new jumper harness made. PM me your email.

Hopefully by the beginning of next year the Series II ecu with get a firmware update that will add a lot of functions.
