s4 turbo II ems

I have already purchased a banzai racing adapter harness for my s4... I read on another thread that I cannot run a series 2 ems in my s4 with this adapter but I can run a series 1. I was planning on running an apexi power fc but have been second guessing myself. I know with the power fc I need to run a modified ignition coil, gm map sensor and an fd temp sensor(I already have all of these). Do I still need to installed these or can the ems work without? Also what difference betweent the series 2 and series 1 would require me to change my harness? Thanks

Yes, You still need to add the MAP, FD IAT and modify the trailing coils. The issues with the Series II ecu not working with the S4 can easily be worked out by a sufficient AEM-Rotary tuner. It will work. You just need to set up the ECU and CAS correctly. With the new features coming out for the SII you will want to use it over the SI ecu.
