AEM HELP!!!! AEM in automatic FD
#4
Interesting, it sounds like something in the car (from wiring differences in the auto) is interfearing some how. Does it go off line when this happens? Does the RPM signal go away? Try to see what changes in the parameter screen when this happens, that might narrow it down. I'm not real familiar with differences in the auto, but according to the manual, there isn't much. Plug 2 on the ecu talks with the auto ecu, it doesn't look like there is anything vital there, you might try unplugging the plug 2 (2nd from the right) and see if it still does that.

here's the deal....i believe that this has already been tried...the car is at kdr...and dave has it on the dyno....i'm just trying to help him find some answers...my car is one of if not the first auto to be getting the AEM....dave's been talking with AEM for over a week now and they can't figure it out....he is supposed to be in contact with the engineer that designed the unit sometime this week....i was hoping maybe one of you guys may have already worked this out....
Dave at KDR has been great!!!!.... he is doing everything in his power to get this done...he may be backed up with work...but if any of you are looking to get some work done he's worth the wait.....
thanks for your help damon1 and i'm open to all your suggestions...
