ECU specs

OK, I know this AEM ecu has some tie up with the GEMS company here in the UK, I had them fit a programmable EPROM into my R33 GTR Skyline ECU. Is the AEM unit simialr, in other words a stock RX-7 ecu pcb board but with a socketed EPROM that allows user access to various menus?

Or is it an all new ECU with no common components with a stock ECU?

What exactly is the connection with GEMS here in the UK, can we buy direct from GEMS over here?

Thanks, sounds a fascinating project, and I wish you well.

No, it is a completely new ecu, and you can't buy them from gems, we liscense the base software from gems, and have completely revamped it.

Thanks Jason. I may have a customer for the RX one, but would DEFINITELY have 2 immediate customers for Supra MKIV Twin Turbo VVTI ones, do you do one for the late VVTi Jap spec cars?

Thanks.
