aem wideband not working..
i emailed aem for an answer but their so damn hopless, even tried calling..
anyway the wires from the a/f guage going to the 02 sensor pinched on my transmission, it cut the power and ground wires. i soldered them back together and its still not turning on. would i need a new 02 sensor? since there is a resistor in the 02, thinking it might of fried it.
thanks

well start with some basic trouble shooting steps.
#1 - wire it directly to a power source (ie: car battery)
#2 - with constant power supplied, unplug the o2 sensor. does it read 14.7 AFR?
If so, then the amplifier is probably just fine.
#3 - ensure you have a quality ground for the wideband sensor.
If you dont believe that, give it a weak ground signal and notice the difference.
lately, the device still powers on, even if you've got the sensor unplugged.
also, by unplugging the sensor - you force the wideband to output 14.7 AFR
