AEM ECU Injector Transition Problems / Tips

I am about to put in my single, and bought a fuel rail with Bosh 1680's for the secondaries, the question is what has been more successful for you, 550 -> 1680 Transitions or 850->1680 Transitions, since from what I hear the jump from 550 to 1680 is quite a bit for the ecu to handle, and the possibility for fuel hiccups, or holes are numerous...

Anybody tuning with 1680's or other than stock setups, please share your experience.

no problem

there is no problem with high capacity injectors and AEM. I am using 6x1600cc.
You have everything you need to fine tune it.Just pay attention to Battery offset, minimum injector open time, msec/bit and LD0 parameters.
Also, dont use high ohm ballast resistors as current might be not enough to open your injectors with equal latency at low RPM. The best if you use injector driver box like VersaFueler or wait till AEM release its own, they promised to start selling it soon.

So, I bought some 1680's for the secondaries, and got some ceramic resistors, with them, you'd say don't put them on !? What's the point of them anyhow !? Are the stock injectors, impedence that much higher !? Or are aftermarket injector drivers like AEM & Apexi not made for low resistance injectors !?

i did not say dont put them i just said how is better. stock high ohm injectors are saturated and aftermarket low ohm are peak and hold types. they are different not just due to resistance. aem does suport peak and hold injectors but max opening current should not exceed 1.5A . i founded this is not enough for high capacity injectors with ballast resistors at low duty cycles for perfect work.
