The is a joke compared to the AEM EMS. The powerFC world well for just fuel and timing control. You can do so much more with the EMS. the editor like most proper standalones can be challenging for beginers. They are both in the same price range once you option them out the same.

The trick with the EMS is that it needs to be tuned by someone who knows both rotary engines and the AEM EMS. For most tuners it's one or the other.

On cars with bolt ons, you can get away with a PFC. They can have decent maps right out of the box. On the other hand some cars wont even start with an EMS out of the box. Then its time to invest a lot of your time or take it to someone who knows what they are doing($$).

hey there everyone, I might be a little out of place and jumping the gun, but I am looking for a decent basemap to hand over to my tuner to start with aswell. my setup is a 93 r1, with an aggressive streetport, gt4088r, aem v1 ems, rx7store extreme fuel system 850cc and 1680cc injectord, bosch 044, resonated midpipe, blitz idbc boost controller, blitz nur spec exhaust, no cat ofcorse, no airpump, no egr, i think i have a 9 or 11 lb wastegate spring. just looking to run the safest and lowest boost posible tune for daily driving, and would like to integrate a seperate tune for scramble boost at 18lbs on 93. also, what does this unit feature as far as two step/ antilag goes? cheers and thanks guys ! thanks to all of youve ive been able to pick up great deals on parts from ive put together i think a pretty awesome affordable setup.

I have one that will get you started. Its setup for those size injectors so it will help but your tuner will have to go thru the wizards and setup the aem to your setup.
Send me your email and i will get you the file
As for 2step/ anti lag im not sure what your asking but yes it has both. 2 step launch, drag anti lag and rally anti lag all adjustable to your needs.

You do not need a separate tune. To do scramble boost you need to install a switch and tune the boost with the boost target comp method. It will still be in one single map.

2 step is a separate rev limit for fuel and timing with a speed limit and a switch activation. The factory wiring has the clutch sw already wired. Set the "2Step Input" to "Switch#4 Gnd=On". Then set your Rev limit RPMs and Hysteresis. Now when you press the clutch in you will have 2-step.

Anti-lag has a lot of settes to turn on and off the control with RPM, TPS, VSS, Manifold pressure. It also has tables to define a rev limit based on TPS for fuel and timing. You can read more about it in the AEMPro Help file. It goes into good detail about the operation and tuning.

What kind of timing are you guys using in higher boost? (IE 20+) I've been tapering off from 13 @ 15 psi to 7 @ 22psi. I'm also running a 12 split. Curious where you guys go to from 15psi to 25 or 30 psi. Still using 12 split up in higher boost?
