Triumph iat calibration

Can someone with an adaptronic please show me the correction scale for a triumph fast acting iat please and thank you? My car only runs when it's unplugged which makes sense since it thinks the ambient 80*f is -5*f.

Hi Steve,

After a bit of digging, I believe I have found the resistance calibraiton for the Triumph sensor. It's shown at the left of this picture, and if it's correct, then the calibration numbers on the right should be correct (I fitted a polynomial to the curve to extrapolate the higher temperatures, I can include the excel file if anyone's interested):

Thanks
Andy

Will the car even try to crank with the Triumph IAT sensor? I'm a bit stumped as to why I can't get the new setup to even crank.

if your car does not crank ,, you have a problem with starter or battery or valance switch

if the car does not FIRE then you have probably flooded it

if the car continues to flood.. it is not hard to replace all numbers in the IAT correction maps to zero to rule that out of the equation

and then on to the hundred other reasons the car may be flooding

Thank you! I guess I'll prepare to get a new starter.

Or just diagnose the problem correctly, then go about replacing/repairing only what is necessary but whatever, it's your cash.
