I'm very sorry for the delay. Have you been able to start the engine by now? If not, can you please email me at mark@adaptronic.com.au or tech@adaptronic.com.au
But to answer the question, the ECU warning for CAS could tell you they're not connected when the engine is not turning. The best way to tell if they're working properly is if it reads a proper RPM signal e.g. during cranking, and if you have a stable ignition timing.
Actually those are the first two things we check when sorting a no-start problem - Trigger setup checking / engine doesn't run checklist
