S5 FC Adaptronic Modular eMod010 direct fire tacho hookup?

I'm converting my S5 PnP Modular ECU to direct fire with the standard IGN-1A coils. If I am looking at the stock wiring diagrams correctly, once I remove my trailing coil I will no longer have a tacho feed to my stock cluster. The Adaptronic documentation says to use pin 4F for tacho output when converting to direct fire, however there is no wire going into this pin on the stock harness. Is the only course of action to attempt to de-pin the factory plug on the Mazda harness side and move a wire/pin over from somewhere else that is not used, or is there something else I can use?

Relevant mods:
1989 S5 NA w/ S5 turbo engine/harness
BNR Stage III Hybrid stock turbo
Adaptronic eMod010 S5 PnP Modular ECU
ID1000x4 injectors
Fuel pressure feed in from FPR
MAC 3 port valve connected for boost contol

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thank you Shawn, I will be giving you a call about this and another issue I having with the car where the leading and trailing are all firing at the same time (even when locking timing at -5/-20). I am about to make another thread about that issue.

Hi Everyone,

Michael has found that there is a wiring gremlin in his car causing the ignition issue. He has confirmed this by swapping the ECU into another car which the ECU control's flawlessly. I have also instructed Michael how to setup his tacho.

Thanks,

Shawn Christenson
