Logging question

Yesterday I took my car to ray @ pfsupercars to get tuned. We ran into several issues.

1. Firmware 10.126 was making the injector voltage do all kinds of crazy things. We used the f11 key to view ECU data and these reading could be view at idle or car off. #1 would get 16v then 12v and jump around. #3 injector was seeing 12v then 0v and it would switch back and forth. Updating to firmware 10.127 fixed this problem

2. When data logging, our logs seemed to stop reading for a second or 2 and them come back on. After seeing this a few different times we stopped the dyno session because of the unknowns.

3. F11 ecu data.........Realtime inputs Triggers FLASHING RED? What does this mean? Trigger 2 switched from yellow to red

Ray is emailing Andy with our logs, ecu files, and dyno info today to see if we can add some good info to this growing community.

Happy to say we have the best support i have ever seen!!!!!! Thanks Elliot and Andy.

So far the car has made 350 @10psi on c12. Taking baby steps to get it right.

Link is a short video of the last pull.

found this after some reading.

Realtime inputs Each of these inputs correspond to the realtime inputs:
MVSS (Master vehicle speed sensor)
SVSS (Slave vehicle speed sensor)
MVSS2 (Master vehicle speed sensor 2)
SVSS2 (Slave vehicle speed sensor 2)
TRIGGER 1 (Digital or reluctor input 1)
TRIGGER 2 (Digital or reluctor input 2)
TRIGGER 3 (Digital or reluctor input 3)

A background colour of green indicates that the input is high. A colour of red indicates that the input is low. A colour of yellow indicates that the input is changing (that is, it has been both high and low since the last time the screen was updated). If an input stays green or red the whole time, that indicates that the input is not being triggered.

Mine is set up under digital inputs 2 for clutch low. I dont need this input to control anything when i clutch in right now some im guessing we can set this to NONE and the red trigger 2 flashing deal should go away.

Hi mate,

2. When data logging, our logs seemed to stop reading for a second or 2 and them come back on.

- Did you use the WARI version that came with 10.127 when you were datalogging? The version counter in the software does not work completely. You have to make sure that an ECU with firmware 10.127 is talking to a "10.127" software so that everything works properly.

3. F11 ecu data.........Realtime inputs Triggers FLASHING RED? What does this mean? Trigger 2 switched from yellow to red

- This is normal. I don't have an RX7, but I have tested this on the bench using an RX7 setup.
Trigger 1 should also flash in theory, but it's seeing the signal too fast so it just stays yellow.

Mine is set up under digital inputs 2 for clutch low. I dont need this input to control anything when i clutch in right now some im guessing we can set this to NONE and the red trigger 2 flashing deal should go away.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but CAS Triggers 1 2 3 is not related to any of the inputs in the Digital Inputs Tab. The ones in the Digital input tab are used to tell the ECU the state (usually on or off) of different car systems e.g. clutch, electrical load, etc. While the Trigger inputs are used for engine speed and timing. The trigger sensors used for these inputs can be reluctor or digital types, and you can select that in the software.

Hope I made sense

thank you for the reply. We had several small wiring issues with m injectors and the data logging / ecu did excatly what it was intended to do. We are on firmware 10.127 and the car now is fully tuned.
