Engine Protection Features

Here is the latest Youtube video from Adaptronic explaining the latest firmware upgrades. The first major change is the addition of engine protection parameters. You can now use the ECU to set predefined rev limiters based on low oil, fuel or water/meth pressure, too lean of AFR, or if there is a fault in your staged injectors( rotary specific). Further-more there have been some large advancement in fueling strategies for the rotary engines. We have Abel Ibarra of Flaco Racing to thank for these internal algorithm changes. It took Abel over 1500 dyno runs to figure this out, and we are unaware of any other platform that has these metrics sorted out. In the end this means not only considerably more power, but much better transient response than other ECU brands!

Please note this is about a week yet from being released; we are doing are best to make sure everything works correctly!

Bump start,

It's not something we intend to reveal. I don't want to give the competition any hint of what we have changed.

Can you give us some clues on the fuel strategy changes without giving away too much? Is it to do with staging or something else?

I must say that the more I look at these ECU's the more impressed I am. I have a Haltech P2000 and racepack logger dash ready to fit to my FD but I keep thinking about trying one of these instead
