Anyone use their Smartphone for tuning?
I am in the market for a phone upgrade soon. I hear about people using tablets to tune, what about a smartphone, particularly an Andriod smart phone?
Everytime I drive somewhere, I like taking my laptop with me in case something dumb happens, I can look at the tune, and hopefully fix it. My idea was if I could hook up with my smartphone, I would have to drag my laptop with me. I will still use my laptop for the actual tuning though.
I guess the ability to view sensor values, change the map, and record logs would be needed.
If there is such a way, what version of Andriod and features do I need in the smartphone? I have an E420D, V15 firmware, and I tune in mostly WARI, sometimes Eugene (but its slow on my laptop for live tuning).
