Adaptronic select pnp series 6 issues

Car broke down last night. Idled for 15 minutes with no problem and then shut down when trying to go into reverse. No RPM. Hall trigger is brand new. ID injectors seem to pulse just fine. Coils too. Running 4 AEM smart coils direct fire. Thinking trigger issue.

ECU wouldn't connect to laptop. Had to redownload drivers. Updated firmware from v12 to v13.

Please help.

Cat is running. Won't Rev over 3200 RPM. Still thinking is a trigger issue.

Back up.

You said the car broke down, implying it was running correctly.. So what changed?

Has the car been tuned? Have you emailed tech the ecu file and a datalog of this condition? tech@adaptronic.com.au

You could also post the above here.

Car was tuned by Steve Kan. I had Steve remote into the ECU this morning. I actually got it running before he got in. It seems that the IAC is really laggy because it's so old. It takes several seconds for the IAC to take over and pick up idle. It was running earlier and now it's flooded again. Again, I had it idling for a sustained period. Went to back out of the driveway... killed. As soon as I touch the throttle after long periods of idle, it's like the car floods as soon as I touch the throttle.

Bad plugs maybe?
Bad IAC?

Not too sure at this point. I'll pull the plugs and take a look at them this evening. I don't know what else it could be. The trigger is functioning properly. It just doesn't like to run after idling for a long time. It's like cold start idle enrichment never shuts off. Wideband shows around 12.0 to 12.4 at idle around 14-1500 RPM.

If you unplug the aic what does the idle speed stay at ? It sounds like you need to manually lower idle via the throttle body. Without a log( also showing afr) and ecu file its not worth trying to trouble shoot. You could have rotary werks take a look at it.
