Which ECU are you using? Some ECU's have 2step, anti lag as an option. If you are using a Apexi PowerFC there is a thread that Viking war hammer responded to about how to properly use a MSD 6AL and 2step module in conjunction with a certain RPM module(Chip). Using this method you will be able to leave the line with boost...

I pm'd you my old threads.......... I was actually able to get better 60 foots 1.4x's without using my two step. The two step would just blow my tires away, BUT my susension was setup ALL WRONG.

Steve Kan was the one telling me about it and im not able to give good info on it, maybe some of the tuners on here will chime in.
For my purpose i just launch at 7800 rpms and leave on boost but my turbo is not as large as yours so you probley need something to aid the spool!

I run a PFC and a Datalogit.

I wonder if it would be possible to Log an engine Rev between say 4k-8k. Then, start removing timing from these Vaccum Cells and keep logging/removing timing from these cells until an acceptable limit is reached.

My thoughts are: to Retard timing in the 5-7k range only. Making it easier to spool a Turbo without bouncing off the limiter. And of course this map only to be used on the Strip. When running down the track, we would only run through this part of the map between shifts, if that. (I'm also assuming that once timing has been Retarded, and the turbo spools, that we would still be running in these vaccum cells?

I don't know, any thoughts? Flamage? lol

So explain to me how the 2 step works? Its cutting off the trailing? Why does this create psi? So I take it you have a switch to turn it on but what happens when you shift the rest of the gears?
