Nevermind, read the fine print!!

Uh, but I am still confused - do you need to purchase the main unit with digital controller and the add-on digital controller too?

Edit: Looks like based on your part numbers it is included. So I guess some folks might be buying it separate to add to an existing unit?

So data loggging, full throttle shift, and launch control are incuded with all units? SWEEET!!

LOL. I'll explain yet again...

1) All RL units come with full throttle shift, launch control, and datalogging included. No additional charge. That's HUGE, because typically those are $200+ add-ons.

2) Pick the main RL unit based on whether or not you want the digital or analog controller. I also listed the price of the digital controller as a separate add-on because a few guys already own RL units, and wanted to buy JUST the digital controllers. So that's for those 2 - 3 guys ONLY...not the vast majority of ya.

Everything clear?

Thumbs up

Salam Ramy,

Got a few questions for ya:

1- Can I take care of payment on Sunday with the other one I owe you? (BTW: Received the hood! That freight company really stinks though. Customer service was just horrible. Thanks a LOT though. )

2- Will "RiceRacing" be making a map for us 3-rotor guys? If so, I'd like to purchase one as well.

3- Is there a different unit we need to purchase for the 3-rotor setup or will the listed one above work? Just tryin' to clarify...

Thanks in Advance,

Rizwan

echeck sent for Digital Adjuster and RICE RACING programming.

Ramy, can I go ahead and get the programming asap instead of waiting for the digital adjuster to show up to get it?

Installation help

I've had a couple of requests for the pictures I took. So I have zipped them all together and did an excel spreadsheet with a brief description of each picture. This is by no means a full installation write up but instead should be used as a supplement to the Racelogic install manual and the info posted by StrikeRx7 in the linked thread in my spreadsheet.

the spreadsheet and pictures all zipped up right here for download:

http://arscca.org/jpgs/Racelogic%20install.zip

hope this helps some of you out

Chris, the payment info post (above) has been updated to include the 8-cylinder application price list. That actually looks to be the greatest savings (provided you use check/e-check), even though I'm prob only buying ONE lol.

Jason's handling the GB payments, so I'd rather you take care of that payment with him, through one of the 3 methods outlined above. Involves a lot less work and keeps things simple.

2- Will "RiceRacing" be making a map for us 3-rotor guys? If so, I'd like to purchase one as well.
I spoke with him about this early on, and if there are enough individuals who are interested in it (more than just one or two), he'll do it. I'm pretty sure we'll have at least 3 ppl getting it though

3- Is there a different unit we need to purchase for the 3-rotor setup or will the listed one above work? Just tryin' to clarify...
I edited the Payment Info post to clarify that...everyone is getting the 6 Cylinder units (2 rotors, 3 rotors, and 4 cylinders), unless you're pushing a V8 like Chris

Thanks in Advance,

Rizwan

Probably. Won't be within the next few days, but I'm sure we can get it to you well before the RL units ship out (which will be the end of the month). Sound good?

Oh and thanks for posting up the install info!

Thanks!

OK, now I am really confused. You have ABS in your FD, but you needed the wheel speed sensors? I thought the FD guys with ABS wouldn't need the wheel speed sensors and that they were only necessary in a car that isn't equipped with abs?

Ramy, is the V8 unit also capable of running a 2 or 3 rotor? You may want to let people know if it is, that way if they ever plan to have a v8 swap in the future they can get the V8 unit now and run it on their rotary till they swap.

On principle, I refuse to support or aid in such horrible thoughts

V8 vs. V6 Version

I have a question about the cut maps for the 6 versus the 8 version. Is it true that both units have a 20 count injector cut sequence programming? If the 8 had a longer sequence, it might provide for more flexibility in fitting two or three rotor cut sequences in smoothly. Is this a question I should raise with RL directly myself?

Yes, I have ABS in my FD. No, I did not have to buy, nor did I buy wheelspeed sensors. Any reference I made to wheelspeed sensors would have been to the wires that you have to tap into on the FD's ABS ecu wire harness, each wire representing the connection to each wheelspeed sensor.
