Any word?

Guys,
I've been patiently waiting for info on this GB. Due to me being over seas I haven't been in a super rush. Whats a couple of months wait? I need a bumper cover so I can paint my car. I'll be back in country in September so time is getting short for me to get the parts and a slot at my body shop. You said you'd let us know what was going on in July. All you posted was that you'd take more orders, Mazda was out of stock, you'd give us info soon and promsied said info on the 28th or 29th. Now it's the 5th and still no word. If the OEM bumper deal is going to fall through or take another 2 months please let me know. I'll be perfectly happy with a plateless cover and my balance returned. I just want to be able to drive my car without looking like a JY refugee!

Thanks,
Jay

If you haven't even ordered anything and don't have any news, I would like a refund.

WTH Guys?
Its almost been another week and still no word. I know we all have lives outside the board, and sometime the internet breaks, or your dog dies etc... thats just the breaks. I expect internet businessmen would be little more proactive when it comes to reassuring the customers who've paid for 15000+ for parts, 100% up front and been waiting for 3 months. I'm in the middle of the Indian Ocean and manage to check the board every day or so. There are two of you, any reason you're leaving us hanging?

Guys sorry for the lack of concrete info. I'm talkin w/ Mazda b/c pretty much everything has FINALLY come in, but we're missing a few front bumpers, which is obviously a problem. The front bumpers have been in high demand and low supply for MONTHS now. But given that this order was placed a WHILE back, I'm trying to push to make sure we're getting priority to have all the parts like YESTERDAY. But in the meantime, what I'm prob. gonna do is process the completed orders in the order they were received. In the meantime, plz give us a few to try and resolve this, as this a supply problem from Mazda itself...

Thanks,
~Ramy

Plateless bumpers ARE available since I don't source 'em from Mazda. It'll ship out separately, and I'll be taking care of that shortly. As for the other bumper parts/accessories, that'll be subject to availability. Cool?

Thanks,
~Ramy

Another week has passed. I still need to know where we stand. Is the stuff finally "in" the states ready to be shipped out to us. Or is it "in" Japan at the Mazda dealer. Since I ordered two covers I'd be happy to let someone else "buy" the extra one if your're coming up short, thats not a big deal. Like I said earlier I just need a cover. At this point and time I don't care whether its OEM or plateless. Just let me know where the parts actually are, if you have enough covers to get to me on the list, and what kind of shipping time to expect.

Thanks,
Jay

I'm in Milpitas now. You're welcome to run GB orders through me which is what I primarily handle. These days I rarely receive parts anymore, but again, you're welcome to pick them up should a GB order be landing at my house (99 GB is a drop shipped deal).

This GB is my primary concern right now. I'm contacting our supplier today to reiterate what was ordered and hopefully obtain some solid ETAs. According to our last communication most parts were in. I'll keep you guys updated.

Ok so its 1050 AM on Sunday morning in Japan now, and you called your supplier yesteday, to let me get this straight... reiterate what was ordered? I'm not getting a shiney happy about this deal. Its going on four months now and all you 've given us is Mazdas out of stock on the covers. NOW you have to check to make sure guys supplying the used stuff have got the order right. Have they got any of it at all? What happened to all the stuff is in except for a few bumper covers? How were orders going to be processed for the first people on the list if you guys have to wait for the complete pile of stuff to be drop shipped from JP? I 've been patient and overly nice up to this point. I'm not much for getting pissed on and told its raining. Sure looks like you guys are either BSing us or don't have this GB remotely together. Either way, if you can't get some concrete info on shipping dates in a week, seven days form now, I want a refund.

syclone_jak,

As you mentioned earlier life off the boards does interfere. Rather than tell you about my personal life I will say that everything we said we did was the truth and the information conveyed back to us was indeed what we were told. I originally sent our supplier a spreadsheet of what we were ordering, but as often happens in this business they needed it again. I am hoping their response will shed light on to the situation and as always what I hear will be posted back here.
