Conversation I had with the customer on the computer shortly after the car was picked up. Most of the stuff after the beginning is irrelevant but I posted the entire unedited conversation. The ast issue was due to a faulty cap provided with the kit that split.
So basically Rich & Ihor did a pre defined job on the car at a budget price and the owner's so called friend Jason is talking **** about stuff that wasn't part of the job?
All of the sudden you guys are responsible for everything else that might be wrong with a car that already had its issues coming in?
What if the exhaust falls off on the BQE, is that their fault too?
What sense does that make?
Its morons like this Jason dude that give rotary owners a bad name... Can't even spell his own frickin name right on your license plates... If its not your car, mind your own business. Let the owner work it out like a man with Rich and Ihor if he has any legitimate concerns. Don't act like a child posting second had BS on a forum.
Rich & IHor - You guys did an awesome job on my car when I was in the neighborhood and you both continue to be helpful both on the forum and off helping all of us with the knowlege you share on here. You might want to consider not doing anyone (besides me anyway
) any favors in the future if this is what you get in return.

If you drop a bolt, find it. Thats what magnets and lights are for. If one of them ended up coming loose under braking they could do plenty of damage if they got picked up in the belts or his fans or something else.
All the hoses and caps on that car appeared brand new. If any of the nonseq/hose work was done by IR I don't really see how it can be blamed on anyone else.
Nope, nothing on my nose. I have no need for that. Rich and I have been friends for quite some time back when we both lived in NYC.
My issue was with the guy flaming on Rich and Ihor. That was out of line. Its not his car. Let the owner speak for himself. I've met plenty of people who are given breaks by the local rotary shop owners and then blame them for anything else that goes wrong on the car simply b/c they touched it last. I highly doubt this is a black and white issue.
I probably shouldn't have posted anything but its freaking annoying to watch some good friends get flamed for no good reason.

I think you got something on your nose there...

You took a very wrong route by flaming me in this situation, Ihor. I didn't "nag" you about anything, nor did I create this thread or request it be made, and I did a lot of research on the parts before I bought them. Rich called me on several occasions(which I was very appreciative of) to update me on the status of the car, I ONLY ever called him to ask about other options I could pursue. Just because somebody else starts a thread, doesn't mean you should automatically start attacking me and attempt to make me look like a fool that is just "slapping mods" on his car. You act like I just threw a midpipe on and turned the boost up to 15psi. I HAVE NOT boosted at 15psi, so where you got that from, I'm unsure. You told me you pressure tested the car at 13psi and it boosted strong. Obviously, after I got the car back, I boost tested it and made sure it pulled hard, but I wasn't racing around town like an idiot. If you ask people that have seen me drive, I drive the car VERY slow(MADDSLOW). None of the negative results mentioned above came from my TUNED map, so I'm not sure why you brought that into the situation. I'm VERY disappointed with your lack of professionalism in this particular event. ~A-Rod
And in case you don't remember, I paid every damn cent of the bill you had for me. I told you that regardless of the number, I would have the money on the day I came to pick the car up. Oh, and I remember telling you NOT TO WRAP THE DOWNPIPE. I specifically called you and said that I did not want it done, and you guys called me later and said you did it anyways and I would thank you down the road. I ended up having to make a few deals with people to work for them to get the money, but that isn't your business to post on the forum my financial situation. Point is, you got your money, even though your final price was almost double the original quote. So please stop trying to make me look like some sort of deadbeat. I'm actually appalled at the level you have taken it to, posting all of my personal information like that. You appeared to be a better person than that. Unbelievable.

I for one wanted to stay neutral to the situation and just find the problems to fix. Yet I have to hear this horseshit. I unfortunately have to run off to work right now. Though at the end of the day I for one will be writing MY opinion of this whole even with the car. A-Rod paid more than top dollar for this work...

Do you leave loose bolts floating around in your own car?
You do realize that you posted a private conversation with the owner of the car who hadn't even posted in this thread, right? Maybe he wanted that address to stay private? What's next, are you going to post his CC number and CCV? How about his SSN to go with that?

Please show me where he flamed them. From what I can tell he didn't mention their names.

Like I said, if anyone has an issue, you can come talk to me in person, not play internet tough guy. I said BUDGET, not financial situation. I never said about the bill not being payed. Re-read my post. I think it was pretty professional. That being said, I am mainly upset at the fact that this was brought here instead of being resolved with us first, and the several individuals that chimed in their unneeded opinions. So I apologize If I was harsh.
Yes, I have... When attached to something without a barbed end or secured improperly.

I hope by saying "budget" you mean horribly inflated hourly figures at the rate of a REGISTERED shop while doing business out of Grandma's garage. After replacing a LIM gasket which they were PAID to do, there is no reason there should be TWO bolts left floating around on top of the engine and a 1/4" vac tube with a BARB on the end breathing to atmosphere. All the hoses / caps on the engine were very new. They dont just blow off of pieces like that, especially not if zip tied like everything else under there was.

"Harsh" is hardly the term to describe it. You enter this thread that I didn't even know about until 2:30AM, and start blasting me as some sort of idiot that is just putting mods that don't support each other on his car. I took a lot of time to research what I should buy and shouldn't buy, and spent money on QUALITY parts. It's not my fault that the HKS intake that cost me over $500 didn't fit perfectly, you act like I bought some pipes off of eBay and wanted you to put them on. I was very professional in everything I did business-related to you, I really don't deserve to be treated like this. Every time you called telling me what I should change/switch out to be safe, I did it. Several of my mods were reliability mods, as well. DO NOT treat me like some idiot ricer. People know me better than that.

Wow, this thread sure blew up, but I expected that.
Antonio, I'll give you a call later and we can resolve everything. The only thing that matters in the end is that you're happy with your car, and I aim to make that happen, even if I have to drive up to poughkeepsie to fix the problem

Wow this did blow up... Hopefully it's all settled at the end and everyone is happy. Jay R.R isn't a bad guy, he is just trying to look out for a friend. I'm glad to see your making a move Rich, good ****. A Rod did not want this to end up like this, he isn't a trouble starter or loud mouth. I'm not saying this to anyone in particular , but to everyone in general.
