'94 dealer brochure - does anyone actually HAVE one?

Hey guys -

Being a full-on RX-7 nerd, I have a full collection of original dealer brochures. I now have all the FC brochures ('86-91) and the '93 and '95 brochures. I can NOT seem to find a '94 brochure on Ebay - I see the '95s pop up WAY more often. I have seen a '94 full Mazda lineup brochure, though.

I have to assume they exist. Does anyone actually *have* one? I'm just trying to figure out if they were really made - it's just crazy that it would be so hard to find the '94, but the '95 brochure of which Mazda sold 500 cars is plentiful. Just odd.

I have one that I bought on ebay. I actually had one I got from the dealership in 94 but the kids got to it and made a mess of it.

Dale,

Over the years, I've collected all sorts of documents that came w/ the FD when purchased new. A lot of 'em go in that leather carrying case for the manual etc. You'd be surprised how much was in there. Prob is, most of the stuff I have is '93 stuff. Mine's a '94.

Dale, since this is your thread, would you be interested in my posting everything I have so far, and you (and others) do the same? Maybe we can piece together everything that was available? Cuz I'm sure I have stuff that other ppl don't know of, and vice versa.

The dealers here were using '93 brochures for the '94s. This was the thicker of the 2 (vs. '95's, which was way smaller, with nowhere near the depth of info on the car). I've still got the '93 and '95s, and I don't quite remember if the '94 was labeled as such, or whether the year was left off the cover. But, the cover and the inside was exactly the same as initial year. Hope that helps.

The '93 brochures show up frequently on Ebay - just keep your eye out. Search for "rx 7 brochure" (the space will hit both RX-7 and RX7) and just keep watching.

I thought the '93 brochure had 1993 or something on the cover. Can anyone with a '94 post pics up of the difference?

I have orginal 93, 94 and 95 brochures, along with a number of years for the SA and FC Gen's plus original mag. articles and Mazda ads. Also have all original literature that came with the '94 car except window sticker; my car came right off the boat to me without passing GO.

I will not part with any doc's except duplicates if I still have any, however I am willing to scan any of them on a catch can basis.

I would love a window sticker from a VRed '94 R2. anyone?

Just curious. Why would you want a window sticker with someone else's V.I.N. on it and probably someone else's options?

Depends on options R2 etc....

My Original FD (RIP) 94 PEP, was 40,XXX.00 so roughly 40K even... and it came with just about everything, bose, moonroof, except for spoiler, and second oil cooler...

(R2) models had those, but no rear window wiper, and moonroof, no leather, no bose.....

-DC

On the sticker it said estimated anual fuel cost $1000.00 not anymore make that $3000.00 if you're still getting 17-25 (not me) I get about (10-17)

1994 Rx 7

Having bought my first RX 7 in 1993, I've collected all brochures, books, postcards, posters, for the FD. I even had the 1993 FD picture with an airplane behind it scanned and framed for my office waiting room.

well VIN is an issue that can never be documented right, but at least a sample WS would be representative and R2's had no options other than such as mats, CD player

prices of '94 models did go up a few times during the year and into 95 distribution and peaked above 40k for R2 and Touring
