Question Z Max?

Has anyone put that new Z Max stuff in your FD. Sounds like a good idea because it keeps the metal wet, which would keep the housing and rotor better lubricated. Just wondering if anyones tried it.

I'm not too keen on putting stuff into my engine other than oil. I used to own a Supra and all the folks on MKIV.com suggest against it. Someone put it this way, "If all that stuff really works, then all the big oil companies would put it in their oil or sell a product like it on their own." That's my two cents. However, if you want to volunteer your car for a test, that's cool too.

I called Z-Max when it came out and ask them. "does it work for rotaries??" the guy on the phone said "yes, it helps lubricate Apex seals" i was like "wow.... usualy when i tell someone i have a rotary engine they say huh???" but i havent bought it so if someone would like to volunteer id like to hear what happens

Thats what I figured

I figured it would keep the Apex seals wet and better lubricated. I guess I will be the lab rat here. Ill pick up a system and put it in when I get my car back next friday. I will post results.

i used to work at honda, and they put it into ALL of their cars. not sure if it works or not, but it does come with a really good warrantee. it says if z-max caused you engine to fail they will reimburse (sp?) you up to $10,000 worth of damage.

maybe i should put zmax into my car and turn up the boost...can you say free motor?

This post died like 5 months ago, funny how it came back.
Anyways I was talking to my neighboor today 'cuse hes been working on his '69 mustang and he said he was going to add some zmax in it, he said the stuff actually works, I swear he was giving me a testimonial like if he was on T.V hawking this stuff, made me laugh. It was funny on how he was telling me to put it in my car and I told him I wasn't so sure but now that I read that TYPE RZ called the company and the said it was cool to use.

I was wondering since this post is from last december if any of you guys used it, it would be cool if some did a follow up on this to see if it work and what not.
