Your car cover is.......????

I have been searching for a "NICE" car cover for my fd. There are many different makes out there and was trying to get some feed back from the people who actually have one before I go out and buy a shitty one. What type did you buy? Has it held up well in the weather over the years? Does it have any type of objects which may cause damage to the car taking it on and off?

Any imput will be appreciated.

thanks guys,
-josh

Indoors or outside?

I have a CalCar Cover Dust top and it fits great for indoor use. Light, has mirror pockets and room for the rear spoiler. It has two plastic gromets for a lock which I dont use.

Beach Blanket on the dash for outdoors. Indoors = I wish I had an "indoor" to store it.

My brother has a nice custom made car cover that I currently have on my vert. It really helps keep the rain and debris off of the paint, I've been very impressed. I can find out the brand name for you.

I also have a custom made car cover. Whenever I leave for school (I am in FL right now) I put the car cover on and it stays clean until I get home for Xmas. Just make sure the car is spotless before you put it on because the dust on your car can scratch your paint from the cover.

Yup, the one I borrowed from my brother and used on my vert was/is a Noah from www.calcarcover.com . It did a great job of keeping crap off of the shiny paint, even in some pretty serious rainstorms. They go for around $190.

They seem to be a great company...I have been using it outdoors for a year now and the thing keeps my car pretty clean even after a rain. The previous owner purchased it and used it all the time...The only complaint I have is the elastic failed but I fixed it by putting in some new elastic. Also wait for your exhaust tip to cool off before lowering the cover over it.! $300!

Anyone have a good car cover recommendation for indoor use? I am looking for a cover that can help reduce chance of dent and scratches inside the garage.

Some cheap brand I don't remember that I got on sale (<$25) from TARGET. It's only for indoor use, which is all I need. Had it a couple of years and I'm happy. I think it was sized on the length of the car. It has plenty of room for mirrors and rear spoiler, it goes nearly to the ground. I think they claimed it was breathable, the inside is soft to the touch while the outside is similar in pattern and feel to the "rip-stop" material some military uniforms come in. It also came with a lock and cable which I've never used.

just wanted to mention the mazda cover sucks if you want to leave the car outside. i used it when i had to leave the car outside for a few weeks and now its covered with these weird marks, like water marks. both on glass and paint. thankfully you only see them from <1ft away.
