For you guys shooting flames

Do you see any smoke with your flames? if so what colour? Sometimes when I let off the throttle still in gear at 8k RPM, I see some smoke, thought maybe comes with flames??

Thanks

P.S. dammit my car is fast, lol. I have had it for a year, and still get anxious about driving it.

8k RPM'S!

Can't say that I have "throwin a flame" but I haved seen videos of FD's flamin and its always white.

BTW...isn't 8K rpms pushing it! Doesn't your rpm alarm go off? I've never had my RPM's past 6.5K. But then again I'm not trying to flame

you are missing all the fun man, best part fo the car. no sound goes off the redline is 8k rpm. the beep goes at 7500 I think, as to give you time to shift. I can't hear my beep anymore anyways, b/c of exhaust.

I don't try to flame either just a nice bi-product of the mid-pipe.

TO tell the truth I never notice the flames, just white smoke figure it may be flames, actually hoping so!!! smoke wouldn't be good if it weren't cause by the flames.

white smoke. it happens when i hear a huge back-fire. then white smoke follows. i usualy dont see the flame.

6.5k????? your motor was meant to do 8....so do it. it wont hurt anything. if you havent had it tis high yet, you haventeven driven your car in a sence.

i have only once at night, know i flamed b/c it was dark and i saw light behind me and a bmw swerved off the road. the one way i do know is when people at stop lights tell me my car is on fire. this happens often and just to play along w/ them i act surprised/scared and say "holly S...are you serious? is is still on fire?" then i laugh my little white As$ off.

RXrotary2_7...that **** is too funny.

My car shoots flames all the time and I see a lot of smoke coming out of my exhaust. My car looks like the video game Spy Hunter when the smoke screen comes on. The smoke color is blue, because it's coming from the second turbo.

cool, thought maybe I was heading for the land of rebuild. Except it is hapening quite often now, is it becasue it is colder outside.

Funny part is the guy behind me on the higway, pulled up next to me at light, and roled down his window to tell me I had fire comong out. I just laughed and told him "I kno,w it's normal". He looked clueless. lol.

Thanks guys

Do yourself a favor and rev your engine up to 8 grand!

Don't worry, the stock engine can handle 8.5K.

I think it actually has a rev-limiter at 8.5K, I know the FCs do. Anybody know?

My car shoots flames that I can see in the rear view anytime I take it up over 8k and the ignition misses or its fuel cut, I'm not sure which. The avc-r usually shows a high of around 8,150 when this happens.

The best time to check and see if you do is hard driving at night in a dark place. I Shifted from 2-3 at 8 grand and could see the flash behind me in my mirrors and the passanger side window. Looks like a camera flash going off
