well i know if they were stuck open in the sense that they were mechanically stuck that wouldnt cause a problem to the injector really...im just thinking of that high of a current frequency going through the injectors...he said they were shorted. you'd think that would definately build up some heat in those suckers

when my coolant seals went it was sort of weird...it started out with moderate smoke..as the coolant warmed up and got pressure the smoke increased, but after a while the mtor got warm enough it seams it heated up to the point where the sealing surfaces expanded and then all the smoke would pretty much go away...it was weird...check your turbos to see if they are leaking oil...as the 2 can look similar, especially if its only leaking oil on the hot side, dripping into the exhaust, and getting burnt away when you hit the throttle and eventually clearing itself out
