Talking Yes, another tranny question!

I was just wondering, I searched for this but couldn't find a straight answer. I read that the stock tranny could hold well over 400 RWHP, but really? How much HP can the stock FD tranny take?

Well over 400 RWHP is right. There are a fair number of people running more than that, and very few people have different trannies. We are blessed with a pretty strong tranny on these cars.

Clarification:
The stock 5 speed is very strong, should be good to 500+ fwhp

The stock 4spd Auto on the other hand is only good for around 350 fwhp, the primary limiting factor is the stock Torque Converter (only safe to 7000-7500 rpm)
