XS POWER w/ KOYO RAD

First of all I dont want some idiot posting some bullshit about my setup because I dont need your opinion, please post only if you are willing to help or if you have this setup.

OK...Anyone using this setup? I had to make some custom brackets for my condenser to move down a good 2-3 inches so the intercooler can have some room and can be a little straighter (not much of a tilt). Im still waiting for the duct to come in so I can make the final adjustments. Most likely I'll have to cut some of the intercooler piping so it can fit snug. Anyone else have to do all this **** to get it to fit nice? Post your processes please.

i read a earlier post about you trying to make a crazy amount of power, something like 600+ if i remember correctly. If so den you will not b able to use this intercooler. you will most likely need a front mount. this intercooler is a good unit but it wont suppost as much power you want to make. please correct me if im mixing you up with someone else

Maybe I missed the setup part of this question. If you are buying a premade off the shelf turbo kit and intercooler, than I wouldn't think it would be need to be fabricated to fit. If you are talking about custom parts all being put together to work, I don't doubt at all that you will need to really do alot of custom fabrication.
Personally my favorite intercooler radiator setups is a custom v mount with the outlets of the intercooler as close to the engine as possible so you have the least amount of intake piping to pressurize. XS eng. makes some good kits, but I don't think they make something that will warrant a 600hp setup. good luck though.

He's on stock twins, and was wondering if anyone else has installed the XS stock mount intercooler with an after market radiator. I guess he was curious to see how much work he's going to under take with the install.

I've considered that XS Power stock-mount IC as well. Looks a helluva lot more effective than the stock IC.

Comes with a little piping too. Can't beat that, now..

honestly I've found that you can pickup a large generic IC and use Stainless Steel Hooker Exhaust 3 inch pipe jbends and silicone hose couplings to make your own aftermarket IC for about 300 dollars. Just tidbits of worthless knowledge.
