WTF is this hose for???
Please if anyone out there knows what this hose is for, it's connected on one end but is not connected on the other end?
See the pics (if it works)
Thanks for any input.

I honestly don't know. I have never seen that hose before. Can you run it back from where it is connected and find out? Just follow the hose and tell us what its connected to then we can tell you what its for.

Its the pipe for your air pump. On the stock airbox, the pipe that just leads from the airbox to underneath (not connected to anything on the other end). Helps to quiet the pump down.
Previous owner of your car must have reinstalled that hose directly to your air pump return pipe, in an attempt to quiet it down.
In short, it doesn't connect to anything, and you can remove it if you want (be prepared for a loud mooing sound if you do)
The second pic you took is actually of your brake booster hose...
Hope that helps,
Rob

So if i remove it, the only difference is the MOOO sound.
The damn hose is so freaking long. If you look at the hose you will see there is like a ball shape thingy that says HKS.

Yeah, i noticed the ball shape thingy. Not positive what that is (never seen it before), but I'm pretty sure its a filter/silencer for the pipe.
If you remove it, you'll hear a loud and distinguisible "moo." May or may not be annoying to you (some people like it, some don't). Try taking it off, and find out if you can live with the noise.
There are other methods to quiet the pipe instead of using a long *** hose with a big ball-type silencer too. I believe Apex uses a small insert that you stick into the hose coming off that upper hard pipe. The insert just has like a 1/8" or 1/4" hole in it, to restrict the flow and quiet it down. You may want to try something like that instead...

The hose in the last pic...Pettit's cold air intake has a similar hose just tuck it back where you got it...it's not suppose to be attached to anything, what I gather is it's venting boosted air to underneath the car. The BOV and CRV are venting air back into the intake and that tube blows it under the car. If anyone has a technical description of how Pettit's CAI works I'd love to here it. BOV and CRV hook into a metal pipe that the air pump draws air from; and that hose in the 1st and last pic connects to the piping on the LIM side of the manifold where the air pump pushes air thru...

hey manchi, why don't you e-mail me those question, i know them all.
by the way, you were able to install the intercooler pipes? I knew you could do it
first pic is a silencer for the air puimp return line, it comes with the HKS intake. Usually, it goes in front of the main pulley
pic 2 is the line that supply vaccum for the brake booster
pic3 is the line that goes from the air pump to the ACV, emission stuff, don't bother, i pluged it right
last pic, well same thing as the first one

Hi, Alex.
Damn intercooler pipes!!! The freaking "S" pipe nearly tore my finger off.
So does that mean I can remove that long fuking pipe?
It takes so much room.
BTW: when are you coming to Montreal?

So I just bought one of those hose plugs from the HELP section of my local auto shop. Then I drilled a few holes in it to allow some air to flow out.
