WTF is boiling on top of my engine?
So I parked in front of my house today and popped my hood to help cool things off as it is hot as ***** in Florida. I'm used to hearing a little crackling/boiling sounds from my on their way out turbos...but this was different.
Hearing an unusual boiling sound I traced it to the top of the engine. I have NS turbos so there is no rats nest in the way. Directly on top of one of the housings there was what appeared to be a clear liquid boiling...it smelled a little like coolant. The engine bay was scorching so I definitely wasn't sticking a finger in there!
I forgot to check after the engine cooled down but I'm assuming it isn't a fuel or oil leak as I'd probably have a scorched shell for a car if it was. Any suggestions where coolant or something could be leaking from to reach this location?
Thank you.

There is a coolant line going to your throttle body. IIRC, it originates from the rear iron. Then there is the throttle body return line and that line snakes it's way under the alternator. Could be your source.
