i took apart my doors and this was on the bottom of both cubbies going from the little soft thing to where the screw goes threw. its like copper on one side and black rubber and sticky on the other. almost paper thin...just thought id throw the Q out there since it really is a mystery to me

 

maybe when you open the door it grounds you so you dont get shocked? or...god damnit I DONT KNOW

thats honestly the first time iv seen that on a car, pretty inovative, and nice. my old 5.0 Mustang used to shock the **** out of me i swear at night you could see that ****** spark from 50 feet away

 

It is a Global Positioning Device from area 51. It sends out a signal allowing the aliens to pick up FD owners and re-adjusts their brains. This make it possible (with the adjustment) for the owner to spend lots of money which goes for parts with a large markup with the bulk of the cost going to the alien people like things.
