Why is human life so ******* important? Our current existence is destroying this planet and its resources. We are the only creatures capable of cruelty and evil and almost all of us do it in some form. We are not rebuilding our population after some kind of catastrophe. There are way too many of us as it is. So if a drunk driver manages to kill himself, i say who gives a crap.
Yeah I agree, this is darwinism in effect, if he was so stupid to do this then eventually he would have done something similar or worse....like if you were still in the car and happend to have your kid in with you (if you have a kid) or a bus full of 1st graders on a field trip...although he would have to be drunk during a work day....well hopfully you got the point, it could be worst.

Thank you for all that reply. I am truly sad that i lost my 7. But the insurance is giving me back everything. The drunk driver lost his liense for 2 years. Sorry that i don't have any pic they took it before i could take any pictures.
THe reason why i love my 7 so much is because i'm a 20 years old college student thats work very hard to buy and maintain the 7. i go to school full time and work two jobs. so i know how hard it is to lose something tha i work so hard for. but thank you for all the feel what i go through

You guys are truely pathetic!
The drivers life is only as important as the value he puts on it, and the driver obviasly didn't value it to much if he chose to drive drunk.

The driver could have avoided this by

a) Not driving
b)not drinking.

He chose option c) be a dumb *** and drvie drunk, and in my opinion, derserves a far worse fate then the *** chewing were giving him in this thread.

Just my opinion on it.

Yes, i am in the process of sue. I'm trying to get all i can from this guy. Guys like this doesn't know what an rx7 owner goes through. He owns a 525 bmw(a f*** bmw now) these all they do is just take there car to the shop and pay the man to do it. while Rx7 owns put out their time and money. This is what **** me off about him. Now his trying to say that my 7 is park out to far from the sidewalk. I told his dumbass to look at the police report and see how far i was parking. if i lose this case i'm gonna go after him myself. People like this needs to learn how to respect what needs to be respected, espeaiclly Rx7 owners. When i drive my honda and sees a 7 on the road i pull off to a side and let them go, becasue i have respect for the cars. But when you run into people like this guy they slow down right in front of you or they keep trying to push you to race them. like when i was picking up my little sister from school. And these two liitle high school student pulls up next to me hatchback on the left and perlude on the right. they start reving their egine and kept looking at me. When the light turn green i gave them a head start untill they got to the other side of the cross walk. by the time i got in to second gear there mouth had already drop. well all i'm saying is that people need to under what rx7 owners goes through. and that its not just another car. Its the CAR

Thank you I keep you undate with the case.

another lost soul (the seven) has been taken. but the soul will move on to become a better seven, the ultimate seven, a seven better then the Spirit R. It will come soon. As for the drunk driver, let him get what he deserves, an *** whoppin! it hurts to loose such a rare car. there is no other car like a seven. I always enjoy telling people about the seven and the rotary and how it works. even though i dont own a seven, i respect them as i too have a rotary (RX4) and even though its not running yet, it hurts to loose such a badass piece of machinery. good luck to u ReDsUnsRx7, and may another seven come ur way.

After working in bars for years I have little tolerance for drunks and none for drunk drivers. If they only killed themselves it wouldn't be so bad but they usually take out someone else. Man I hope you can get another FD, I love mine even with all it's problems.

Good Luck!

That sux.. I feel your pain though. About how much is the settlement going to be. If it's not enough, then just find some lame excuse to sue the drunk and get more money so that you can get another FD. If the drunk was able to walk away from the accident, I would have beat his ***.
I have no sympathy for people who drink and drive. Anyways, try and find another FD. That's my opinion.
