Unhappy wrecked my rex:( need right rear quarter panel

hey guys

desperate need of your help again. The story is, on sunday night coming home from the school gym it started raining hard. i was in the middle lane just driving safe at about 55-60mph just chilliin ( first of all i dont like to drive my rex in the rain) when i was about a mile from my exit, the middle laneand including theother lanes all the way to the right last lane was under construction(uneven pavement) I did not see that there was uneven pavement until all of a sudden my two right wheels were on the bottom pavement and my two left wheels stayed on the top pavement. my first reaction was to go on the lower pavement since my car is kind of low to the ground and i dont like to get over that bump to get to the higher level pavement. However there was a car in my right lane so i couldnt get to the right lane and lower pavement so my natural reaction was to go left. WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE! dont know what really happen because it happened so fast but my back wheels were spinning my car started to head for the median to the left of me so i started turning my steering wheel to the right to avoid the median, then my car did almost a 180 turn and went almost into oncoming traffic behind me, i then started to counter steer to the left and my cars rear almost straightened up but instead drifted to the right on to a upward sloping hill with no trees. Luckily! i say luckily b/c if there was a gaurd rail or any thing close to being steal or any thing real hard, i would not be here looking for a rear quarter panel. I am also lucky that i did not hit any body considering this was on the freeway. i know you guys probably want to know but the damage to the car is rear quarter panel needs to be replaced, coolant leak, unbeievable boost creeps, and maybe rear axle is mest up, maybe b/c i will find out tommorrow when i go to shop(hopefully tha will be it). All i have to say is that becareful driving the rex in the rain, and yeah i will have my rex back sooner rather than later i love my rex! Any body have any recommendations on body shops around the dc, md, va area please post or pm me, or even email me at RxKahsay@hotmail.com. thanks fellas.

That is some really bad news... glad you are okay and sounds like your decent driving skills helped this from being more serious.

Hrm, my condolences. What were the condition of your tires, if you dont mind me asking. Also, what kind of tires are they?

re-amemiya widebody time, its the cheapest fix you can probally find unless you can do the bodywork your self.

good luck

Shoot silver ninety three a PM. He has a parts car out here in TX, and I don't think shipping will be near as expensive as you think it will be.....
