At its current price it may be worth it but its gonna go up another 2k. At 6000ish it wouldn't be worth the risk . There is alot of cracked plastic inside. Be lucky to salvage 1/2 the interior without cracked clip holes.
Over 6 under 7. Was more then I wanted to spend but it was still worth it. I went back and looked it over very very well which is why I decided to bid on it more. I plan on swapping everything over to a new shell. Slight chance I may part it out

Lol. Like I said, I went back and checked it out again. Got it running well. Went over the interior very well. So I decided to bid. I was only planning on spending about 5k but I got caught up in the bidding... I still don't think it's worth parting out. If I get a cheap shell and swap everything over then it will be worth it.
Okay, there MAY have been a slight amount of smoke screening, but I really wasn't going to bid much at all at first lol. Besides, you can't blame me..

I've bidded on several cars including 2 fds and the go for way to much, first fd I bid on was a 93 mica yellow with rear collision I bid up to 6500 and it sold for 8200, second fd I bid on was a 94 with a burned engine and it went for 9500. There's people all over the worls bidding on these.

If I was him I'd part this one buy another one and part that one while saving all the money I could for a really well put together FD.
Buying a junk roller for 2k that needs paint etc..... then swapping over all these parts and buying what's damaged will be both expensive and more importantly time consuming all in the name of creating a hodgepodge FD that would be worth 13k max.
I think you misunderstood me. No way in hell would I put all these parts in a beat shell. I'm gonna wait to find a good deal on a minty shell.
I plan on using the motor for a couple months in my black fd because I'm in the middle of doing a 6766 and building the current motor.

I have a really nice chaste white 94 and a decent ssm PEG 94 but neither will be cheap

I'll say it again this one was a 5k plus car with out even thinking about it. I doubt I would of paid 6k plus 800 or so in fees but I think FC3SPOWA did fine.

If you want a good shell I sometimes have them.
Again great buy and good luck with whatever you do with the car

Best advice Fritz ever gave me when I was looking for an FD
. I don't understand all the schemes + brain damage people go through to save money buying junkers and then wasting even more money bringing them back to life when they could have a nice complete FD for 15-20k. Just look in the FS forum, 10-13k junkers get snatched in record time while pristine cars for a few grand more sit for months.
