Wrecked 92 R.E Amemiya need help.

I have a 92 Authentic R.E and the issue I have is it was ran into a ditch and the whole front is flexed, I am taking it to a frame shop on Monday morning, but we are not really sure its fixable, unless I can locate a Left front Sidemember (left fender frame) that they could repair it with that. They will attempt to fix it As-Is however it's split in a few places and I am not too sure it will be good enough.

Can you guys/gals in the Community help me out with this? I would hate to have to strip this body and trash it.. I want to save it and I have the money to do so. But Dealerships and "contacts" are useless. PLEASE HELP!

There's a japanese guy on youtube fixing something that he dragged out of the weeds over there, he was purchasing structural panels new from mazda - and it looks like the major component you need is still available if keen on drilling out spot welds https://www.amayama.com/en/part/mazda/fd0154200a

I expect the subframe and various other pricey bits are beyond redemption, that might make it more cost effective to see if there's any empty front half cut shells available locally. Salvage the bits of the nosecone to bog back together?

Anything can be fixed, it's the question of finding the right person to do the work and paying that person accordingly.

Get some quotes on getting the repair done. The car is special enough that it's worth putting the money into.

Yeah, I've got 15k I can pour into it right now, with more later.. I want it done properly, from what I've seen if you have enough $$$ you can rebuild a burned out "special" husk from the salvage yard into a 99%.

This car found in Houston,TX and I bought it just for parts.. I did not know until I picked it up and Got it to the House that it was a Limited Edition car. It was at that moment I decided it is a Diamond and just needs to be brought back to life..

I had a 1994 R.E Amemiya Number 13 of 19 cars while I was in Germany and I loved it to death. I believe that all R.E RX's are Rarities and should be treated as such.... Driven enthusiastically but also treated like the most expensive supercars.

I would also get an opinion on that wheel, I've seen wheel repair places that can do miracles.

Those wheels are just Enkei RP07s I can get two new ones for about 400 a piece.. unless they can repair then for less than half their price new.

$15k is no where near enough to fix that properly. Unless you work at a body shop or have an awesome hook up.

Yes I have a Hook up, and I am waiting on confirmation from Amayama.com for a replacement Sidemember, as soon as it ships we are going to just drill the spot welds and put the new one on. 15K is just what I have readily available. I have over 100k to use but I am not trying to spend all of that on one car.

I don't want to spend more than what I would be able to get out of it if I ever decided to sell it.
