Well iv spent 18 months making my car run sweet by replacing just about all the hoses selonoids, check valves and everything else, So been dialing out every little bump caugh and fart the car had with the HKS F-CON + GCC and it was running nice and smooth so i thought.

Then i perchased the APEXI POWER FC and fitted it yesterday and all i can say is WOW what a difference, I cant belive the difference the ECU made, So smooth, fast, no 3k hessitation, no low speed jurking or bucking, more power for sure and makes the car pull so hard.

Dun some good 3rd gear pulls and loged o2 via LM-1+LMA-2 and air fule ratios and they are nice and safe and thats on the base map.

Oh and the Power FC is the later one with the richer base map FD3S4

If you dont have a PFC then get 1 it makes your car feel like new, Shame they may be coming to an end.

 

What AFRs were you seeing on boost when you were wide open throttle?

 

Max afr's were 11.2 - 11.5 at WOT and about the same at idle leaner when holding revs in 3rd at 2500rpm at about 14

 

Yeah, the PowerFC is just one fantastic mod. The base map makes the car run SO good.

It's a shame production is coming to an end, but here's hoping there's a way cooler PFC coming down the pipe.
