Would these wheels work ?? Advice needed...

Guys, I own this car in Santiago - Chile.

Tires:
F: 235/45/17
R: 265/40/17

Wheels:
Donīt know exactly the size
WedSport 17" Gunmetal

Because of killing freights I need to do it right the first time, you would not believe all the money I have lost because I bring something home and change plans later...

Well, I want to import a Shine kit for my car, a kit like this:

Burnout Front Bumber
Burnout Wide Front Fender (20mm)
Burnout Rear Fender Flares
Sanai Sidesteps & Lower Add On
Sanai Rear Bumper Add On

Something like this...

My tires are brand new and I love my wheels.

Would these Wheel/Tire setup work with spacers and the bodykit ??

Please your advice... Thanks..!!!

If you put a widebody kit on your FD, those Wedsport wheels will look sunken. I'd leave them at home and check the 350Z forum for a set of 18x10s.

If you read Ken's (Shineauto) thread, he had that body kit and discusses the offset used in his project car. His rims were Work VS-XX. You can use that as a reference. Look in the vendor forum. Everone would PM him what his setup was (myslef included) so he made it part of his thread.

If you want to use those WEDS, I would get a set of Ichiban Wheel Adapters to match the offset.
You can detemine your offset by measuring the center of the rim to the backing plate. Determine the width of the new fenders too.

From the picture above, i wanna guess those rims are +38mm?
Stock offset is +50mm

Ok, I found the spacers you talk about in 10mm...

http://www.ichibausa.com/ProductDeta...ode=MZ%2D52110

US$105 a Pair

But if I improve the offset do you think they wold look Ok on the bodykit ?? Or do I definitely need to go bigger ??

Thanks..!!

By the way I got inspired on widebody after I found this car in a town near my house...

Sexy White...!!!

It would really hurt my pocket to get new wheels... I would like to avoid that process...

So, you want to increase your fenders by 20mm, but only increase the wheels by 10mm?

Can you find spacers to fill out the fenders? I'm sure you can. You'd probably want something in the 25-30mm range for the spacer to fit with the wide fenders. However, it's going to look goofy from the rear of your car.

Keep the wheels, forget the widebody. There is much better stuff to spend your money on.
