Especially if you already bought an exhaust for it (which means he may have street raced it)?

I know it may sound weird, but im a teen, and i know how teens act, so im just passing on what i currently know as so you wont waste money on a car on its last limbs.
One of the good things about these cars is the fact that they love to be ridden hard (just don't put em away wet) so drive it hard for 1/2 hour and if all is well you probably have yourself a good one. Of course do all the usual checks first - smoke under wot - see if exhaust smells sweet like anti freeze or good like gas - good vacuum good boost - check coolant for oil check oil for coolant - look for leaks were he or she parks the car - clutch should engage early - no rattling sounds in the drive line with clutch in or out - unsettle the car by tapping brakes and listen for odd noises such as clunking sound from the rear - push on all for corners to check shock and springs - etc.....If you enjoy sports cars there is nothing better for the money and they are worth every penny.

the worst thing about owning an FD is that most every snot nosed, crooked hat wearing punk, with a slammed shitmobile revs at me.

I just bought my 93' R1 two weeks ago. Already, I am tired of idiots in stangs and camaros wanting some. At first it was cool. Now, I pick and choose.

One other thing...DO NOT buy a FD if you don't know how or want to wrench on a car. This is bad for some and great for us that enjoy the challenge!!!

From an Impala to a 7??

You know this thing has only two seats right??? JK But seriously, do not expect to fit much of anything in this car. With my speaker box in the back, I can only fit small things in the trunk. But what the hell, I didn't get this car for haulin' lumber.

I don't even own one yet and already know what the worst thing is. The worst thing about owning one is that you own the damn thing and I don't. So hurry up and sell it to me!

I'll sell you mine if the price is right. Plus don't forget to add my sentimental attachment fee of $5000. It's a Pettit built engine and all. How about $22000? JK I just bought it and won't sell it. Sorry.

I think the worst thing is the car run too hot! Just about every wires and vaccum lines is almost readly to break. And the dam engine harness from mazda is like $1800 list price. Oh yea for a guy with a heavy foot like me the Miles per gal. is not all that great...
