wow, that thing is nearly as gutted as my fc is haha (i like it , its damn near all preped to be seam welded. just get some dry ice and an air hammer to pound out all that caulk/ sound deading goop ). in anycase, i think it would be cheaper just to buy a re amemiya 2002 widebody kit and a new driver door and get the entire thing repainted rather then to pay soemone to pound out the dents and body work it perfectly. everyone here will be drooling over it and youll never see the dents again as for the engine being ok but nto running, i would highly suggest compression testing it before hand to check the engine. an ecu will run you only a grand for a power fc and the engine does look complete minus the air filters.

I'd be sure to check that in person. Make sure it doesnt have frame damage and all that jazz. Honostly, of all the people I've known who have purchased cars like this so they could restore them, they've ended up spending WAY more than they planned. Make sure you have more than enough money to put into this project, because it will be just that - a project. Also - nothing on the FD is cheap. NOTHING.

Interior pieces are probably the most expensive pieces to buy (and it's not like there is an aftermarket source for them either).

You'll spend a chunk of change trying to get that back on the road. If you were going to turn it into a gutted track car, then you would have a decent candidate.
