woot 93 for 4000 bucks

i cant believe it i have been druling and dreaming over an fd but gave up becasue they are so freaking expensive so i was searching around for another fc to rebuild and found an fd for 4grand
granted its not the best looking one and will need some tlc and body work and its missing some of the interior pieces and the motor has somthing like 160k on it but its still running and the stock twin turbo setup is still operational

i cant wait to get started on it im jumping up and down and buzzing all over my wife thinks iv gone insane all over a car that she says (is okay but couldnt u have bought somthing better for 4k)i still havent replied to her i just laugh

If you think FDs are expencive to buy, wait till you start restoring yours!

I hope your project goes cheaper than mine has thus far, but I've pulled out all the stops on a lot of stuff so it shouldn't be too hard to beat me in that respect

Just curious, are you sure it has 160k on the original motor? If so, I think that may be an FD record and should definately be noted.

And yeah, wives will never understand something like this! It seems to be something that requires a Y chromosome.

Next purchase is a set of metric sockets. They will become your best friend.

im not pos that the miles are accurate its acouple states away and im gonna pick it up on tuesday but the guy made a video and tons of pics with todays newspaper so im satisfied
i know the restoring will be pricy but my main thing was just to get a canvas to work from ill mainly do body and interior and run the motor till a major seal goes then pull the motor and trans rebuild both and switch to a better single turbo setup
