wooshing sound from rear?
Hi all,
I'm hearing a wooshing sound, but coming from the rear passenger side of the car. Almost like the hatch seal isn't too good. This only comes on it seems after 4500 rpms. My boost pattern is 12-8-10, and the secondary comes on just fine and with awesome power.
Would a leak from the secondary turbo sound like it was coming from that far to the rear of the car?
Thanks for your help.

it would probably vent in that general direction. The turbos are on that side of the car, and if you're moving forward, i guess maybe. But whooshing could very well be from the wastegate expelling excess air. as long as boost is still at 10 psi, and nothing else is wrong, shouldn't be an issue as far as i'm concerned

It's a stock intake, and some kind of crappy aftermarket exhaust. Still uses same diameter piping. Haven't seen it on another car, so unsure what exactly it is.

Well, I have a similar sound because I have an Apexi intake and stock exhaust and when I am at WOT and the second turbo kicks there is a wooshing sound coming fro the passenger rear because the exhaust cannot expell all the extra air that is being sucked in.
However, in yours there may be a similar problem or a small hole may have developed in your "crappy aftermrket exhaust" and you can only hear it during the second turbo because there is more air needing to be expelled. So, maybe try checking the exhaust for holes?
Hope this helped and good luck.
