WONT START light spark, fuel preasure is good and getting starter
please pm if you have any ideas were to go from here.
ok. so i have a highly modified car that i bought and do not know much about two many aspects of it to start. i am good with these cars but am still having issues. so it has a brand new motor that was very expensive and running a haltec e8 brand new ecu (no idea if it has a base tune and if it will run out of the box at least at idle) two msd igitions which i can use or not use depending on if i want to run the stock coils or them. have tried both ways has a jumber box attached to switch from one to the other. great yellow top battery with tons of power. getting starter (strong) spark seems to be a little week at the pplug or at least inconsistant. fuel preasure in the car and oustide on the rail reads like over 3 and a half bars. should be good.
problems i know of. intercooler is not on car so it is open intake. not even trying to run though. tried starting fluid with very small dose (i know this is bad for a $5,000 motor but needed to see if it even tried to crank. Got nothing. do not know were to start but it sounds like i have a spark issue. please assist if you have any ideas and please do so by email or pm. mcknlyproperties@aol.com

theres your problem... how do you expect a car to start that possibly dosent have any sort of ignition/fuel map?
and MSd's are not the type of thing you use or dont with the flick of the switch
Having personally installed a few haltec's and seeing how one missed wire/ incorect wiring can make a rotary run or just be a big paperweight, i think your gonna need profesional help.....
Who installed the new motor? did it run before?..
